Mac poker players can use Bodog
Published by admin on February 9, 2009
It’s a great day for those Mac poker players that are searching for cool places to play their games. Recently Bodog Poker added a new cool feature to their online poker room called: Instant Play. This new option is going to allow anyone to play online poker for real cash straight from their browsers. This instant play option is similar to the one offered by Party Poker.
In case you are a Mac user you will also have the opportunity to play poker online at Absolute Poker, Sun Poker or 888’s Pacific Poker. These are the most famous online poker rooms that are Mac friendly. They are all offering browser based online poker by using Java or Flash software. This means that you must have Java or Flash installed.
With this new feature you will have the ability to log into your Bodog Poker account and play poker on other computers without downloading the software. Since many workplaces out there have restrictions to installing or downloading software, this new feature is going to bypass them all.
You will be able to use the Instant Play from Bodog Poker only for the cash games tables. This means that in case you want to take part of the exciting online poker tournaments that are taking place all the time at Bodog Poker, you will have to use the downloadable version of the software.
The instant play is going to open up in your browser instantly and it’s going to be a replica of the downloadable version.
Also be aware that you will only be able to play Texas Hold’em since all the other games that are currently offered by Bodog Poker are only available in the downloadable version. So the Omaha, 7 card Stud and the other games are not going to be found.
